Jacqueline Ewin, my mom was laid to rest at sunset in 1981 at age 40. Sixteen relatives are in same area, plus lots for 8 more. Best maintained in tri-state area.

I want to thank all the members of the Sunset Funeral Home for the utmost care of my family due to the passing of my husband. It was a very difficult time and every detail was handled in a very efficient and caring way. They were attentive to our every need. I cannot express enough praise and gratitude to all members of that team of people. Randy Watson is a great person to work with and does an excellent job as funeral director. Thank you to all.

Amy is professional, caring and takes care of everything, even months later. She took loving care of my husband and I will never forget her.

This is a beautiful facility! It sits high on a hill, overlooking the countryside and Evansville! Very comfortable atmosphere, well-decorated, very nice Associates ! It sets in a park like surroundings with even a gazebo taking in the view from high on the hill!

I lost my mother on October 13th, 2020. That was the worst day of my life. As someone who has personally lost a loved one, as probably most people have, Sunset Funeral home was the biggest blessing that week for my family. During our time of grief, I was able to easily come in contact with someone to start the process of burying my mother. I never have personally went through this process before. The staff was so sweet and very sympathetic to our situation. The process, being my first one, was expected to be a nightmare, and granted on a low level it was because of our loss, but the staff came to our rescue and made the process as smooth as possible. Never once, did I feel like I couldn't do this because I had plenty of help to guide me in the right direction on my decisions. My family and I are grateful in many ways to Sunset. The service was beautiful and were able to have everything that my mother would have wanted and that was the most important part of it all. All her wishes were granted. It's a beautiful facility staffed with great individuals who take pride in making sure that families have all they need during their time of grief. Thank you for all you have done and also thank you so much for checking in on my family and I since then just to make sure we are doing ok. That level of compassion has not went unnoticed. In my opinion, One of the biggest qualities that can be given during a time of loss is Peace of Mind. And Sunset has given me way more. Bless you all.
