I have been here over the last couple of years to get work required physicals and get treated for poison ivy. I came for my work required physical this year with the same form to be filled out as every other year. The physical is supposed to be covered by insurance since they require the visit but this is the first year I have received a lab bill. Insurance tells me that a test was performed that was not required as part of the physical and that is why I am being billed. I indicated when I checked in for my appointment that I only wanted what was required by insurance to be performed but they obviously did not adhere to that. When I spoke to the biller at SFP, she said repeatedly that the nurses would only do what the doctor ordered and there was nothing they could do about it. I have never actually seen the doctor when I have come in. It has always been nurses and PA's but regardless I should not be receiving a bill for tests that were not required for this visit. SFP has lost a customer by not being able to resolve this.

Just be aware you all of all these 5 star reviews. They cannot be from real patients since the reviewers that have either 1 or 2 reviews. This place is all about billing than Healing. I wish I was looking at the reviews before I go there. I have never ever seen any medical Doctor who cares ONLY about your money and how much he can take out of your pocket. Went there for a SIMPLE visit and ended up wasting more than 500 with all the unnecessary lab tests he wanted me to take. And the funny thing is he was NOT able to treat me. I ran away from this clinic when the nurse said Doctor wants to see you again when I said hellll no. thanks!!!!

Dr. Shih is an amazing doctor. He works diligently to ensure the wellness of each individual patient that he treats. Very caring and detailed. Dr Shih takes his time to really listen and you can tell he really cared about your health and your well being. I’ve been coming to Suwanee Family Physicians for over 8 head and now that my children are a little older, Dr Shih is now our Family Physician.
