Love this ferry, saves time and a nice scenic way to travel from the east side of the city to The Bronx.. Every time I have taken a ride, Ferries have been clean, well manned, polite employees, clear announcements, coffee, beverages and snacks for sale and ON TIME so don't be late.

30-40 Minutes with a good operator From Soundview to Lower Manhattan and with a connection to the Bx27 this ferry has potential to be a difference in traveling for the residents of Clasons Point, Soundview and surrounding area especially if the 6 goes down

I am so excited that we finally got the ferry service we deserve in the south Bronx. We love it!

Can't wait to have a chance to use this ferry on Wednesday. I will likely use this more than the subway,or bus.

Ok the ride was ok...the vessel very Clean...the attendants were all professionals. I had emailed the corporate office of NYC Ferry about another issue and they were also very professional and prompt with their response. However, they never returned a response to a question that I wanted for them to explain. If they are reading this, maybe they will get back to me and tell me why they insist having their concession attendant ask a 69 year old man with a cane identification(drivers license), in order to purchase an alcoholic beverage.Really???

NYC Ferry landings all have beautiful views, but these are particularly exceptional, overlooking the northern end of the East River, the Bronx–Whitestone and Throgs Neck bridges, and the Midtown Manhattan skyline. This landing is identical to the other new docks built for the NYC Ferry service, with a covered waiting area, a ticket machine, and on-demand heat lamps. On the downside, it is a few blocks’ walk from the nearest ground transit, the Bx27 and Bx39 buses at the corner of Soundview and Cornell avenues, and over 2 miles (3 kilometers) from the nearest subway station.
