My daughters and I have been going to The Charlotte to volunteer since this summer. We have been doing window visits from outside with residents and making chalk drawings in the parking lot. Due to COVID we cannot go inside, but the wonderful Activities Director, Tammara, was still able to find ways for us to help bring joy to residents. The residents seem to love it there and all the staff we have met are very caring and compassionate and always looking for things to make the residents feel more at home. It is clearly a great option for the Charlotte community! The facility itself looks beautiful and we hope someday soon to go in and visit residents in person. They definitely do their best to make it a great place to live!

Mom has been in memory care at The Charlotte for about a year. I couldn't be more pleased with the care she receives. It's been a tough year as the staff struggles to care for their residents during the covid pandemic, but they've managed to keep the virus at bay in the facility. Kudos for that! Mom is happy, comfortable, and content there. The food is excellent. The floor plan in their Memory Care unit is simple and in no way confusing for their residents. Population is small, meaning residents get individual attention. The Activities team keeps the residents pleasantly occupied. I'm pleased with the environment and care Mom is getting.

Last weekend was my mother’s birthday. With all the Covid restrictions and regulations, we were afraid we would not be able to celebrate with her. However, after getting connected with Tammara, the Social Director at The Charlotte, we were able to plan and then enjoy a mini parade/party outside with all the trimmings! My mother was surprised and delighted. She later said that she didn’t think we would be able to even see her let alone have a safe and fun celebration. Thank you to Tammara for making it possible!!

I enjoy working with our members each day and bringing smiles to their faces. I enjoy being a part of the life enrichment team because we truly embody the word team. There is nothing that we won't do to support each other and bring joy to our members.

I am honored and blessed to be apart of such a great team at The Charlotte. The team members are friendly and always willing to lend a hand. The Charlotte is such a beautiful place for members to call home. Members enjoy fine dining with delicious menu choices of food cooked by our chef. Plenty of fun activities and other programs available as well as opportunities for families to partake in. I could brag for days but don't take my word for it! Come on out and see for yourself what a great place The Charlotte can be for your loved one.

You should consider this facility if you have or anticipate a need for assisted living or memory care, or need information/advice on what type of services your loved one may require. Sarah Zimmerman, the Lifestyle Advisor, is sincere and interested in helping folks find the right fit. She has gone “above and beyond” to help not only my family but several other acquaintances, generously offering her knowledge not only of her own facility but also of the industry and the local market. Services are very competitively priced, and apartments are lovely. The staff is positive, patient, calm, personal, and supportive. We have special dietary issues i.e. gluten intolerance, this is one of only three groups here in Charlotte which I am confident understands the issue, and is unique in their interest in and approach. One mission many of us share is to find stability, where our loved ones are happy and comfortable and can age in place. These folks are dedicated problem solvers, and as such can help accomplish those goals. FYI if the address looks familiar, the old owners are NOT involved, they sold out, this is a new group with a good reputation in several other states.....check it out.
