My daughter started at Covenant (Upper) School this school year and loves it! As a result, my wife and I couldn't be happier or more thankful! Although I'm not sitting in on the classes, the teachers genuinely seem to love teaching and care for the students. The classes are challenging and the expectations are high, but the teachers are very willing to meet during \office hours\ before school, or at other times throughout the day. Also, even though the Upper School campus has grades 7 - 12 (the lower school campus is about 10 minutes away), the school does an excellent job of getting the students to interact with one another even if they are not in the same grade. At the start of the school year this is accomplished by a school-wide (7-12 grades) overnight retreat. The students are also assigned to one of 4 \houses\ for their time at Covenant which builds relationships among the students across all grades. They use the \house\ system for various fun competitions throughout the year, but each house also serves various nonprofits in the community. I have read some negative reviews, but the people with a bad experience seem to be few and far between. If you want a strong liberal arts and science college prep education for your child that teaches all classes from a Christian worldview perspective, then it would be worth your time to check out Covenant. (And don't let finances be an issue as the school has a strong financial aid program.)

I was extremely disappointed by this excuse of a place of education. Yes, this school has shown slight flashes of being the slightest bit above par, but sank to an abysmal low in my eye, when I discovered the teacher's tendencies to encourage 'tattling'. The headmistress is rather incompetent, and has shown no sense of an awareness of learning differences, as she has not gotten to know the students at all. Was utterly shocked at the stories I was told of laughably strict punishments for the pettiest of things. Disappointing. Utterly disgusting.
