This review is more about the attorney than the firm. I hired Brian Wright to handle an estate issue in July 2018. It was not a favorable experience. I was told by a real estate attorney and a judge that my problem was a \quick fix\ by an estate attorney. Instead it took 4 months and cost almost all of the down payment money requested. He spent a great deal of time in the deed room researching issues that were not the identified problem. Extremely disappointed in the way he thinks \outside the box.\ It cost me time and money.

I know Mr. Cowan from Municipal (traffic) Court rather than his law practice, but have a feeling many of his traits in court would be relevant to his legal clients too. It’s very clear that Mr. Cowan seeks to truly serve the Dalton community, and goes the extra mile to make sure defendants understand the entire legal process. He isn’t there to “hang” anyone...and seems far more interested in rehabilitating those who need it. He really seems like a judge who truly cares...and I’m sure that translates over to his clients as well.
