I highly recommend this guy. I used to wear hats all the time, even in the summer and I hate being hot. This procedure gave confidence I hadn’t had in a while. I’m even considering going back to have more work done. He makes you feel comfortable while he’s performing, and the pain is minimum. Even felt good on some parts of the scalp. If you’re thinking about it, just go ahead and do it.

Derrick is a nice guy and very personable, but that’s where your relationship with him should end. I went in to get some circular scaring at the back of my head covered. I sent him pics of the area highlighted and made an appointment. I showed up and told him what I wanted and he said he understood. When I got home I realized he only did the top half of what I asked for - which made what I wanted done look even worse. Not only that, but he didn’t match the density with my existing hair at all! I texted and called his assistant, but had to wait a month to go back in. I explained - again - what I wanted and he got it right this time. For my third appointment he focused on the correct area. At the end of this session I asked him to put a few “follicles” in a very small bald patch at the front of my head. He said he could see it, and said he would “add some density,” but then proceeded to go way outside what I wanted, which wouldn’t have necessarily been an issue had he not made it so dense! It looked like I had an awkwardly shaped dark black patch at the very front and center of my head! I have light Caucasian skin and light hair; in what universe would I want that?!? Again, way too dark and density didn’t match, and some of the follicles turned blue. When I texted him about it he said it would look great when I get the rest of it done. Okay, I’ll just walk around for a month where it looks like one of my kids took a permanent marker and colored in the front of my head. I got it laser removed as fast as I could and will have to get the initial portion lightened as well.
