Overall good experience. An hour wait to be seated but we didn't have reservations. Pros: love the concept of students working to pay their way through school. Love the patriotic values. Cleanliness and smell of the whole place is very good. Most employees never bothered us about what we were wearing and did not discriminate against us for not wearing a face covering. Cons: campus closed and we were stopped from even walking on sidewalk near the Keeter Center in our hour wait for lunch. Extreme measures. Some woman crossed the Center to where I stood completely alone in an area of the building where there was not another soul to scold me and say that a face covering was required. (Imagine requiring all patrons to cover their knees or elbows-- why isn't requiring someone to cover their face a shocking unbelief?) After she had proudly dispensed her matronly duty and marched away, we continued to enjoy the place. My grandfather was a veteran as my father and I couldn't help but ponder why a place who claims to value and defend the freedom for which so many sacrificed -why they would identify with a policy that is diametrically opposed to all the values they proclaim. Interesting. I still recommend the place as most people were kind and not the matron sort.

Delicious meal on the patio. Daniel from Tanzania was our server. He was attentive and professional. The broccoli cheese soup was hot and amazing. Their home made chips included green onions, bacon, deliciously mild blue cheese crumbles, and a cream sauce. The student employees in the rest of our experience were just as delightful as our meal and our waiter. We will go back soon! Thanks for an amazing experience!

The food was delicious. We appreciated the apple butter with the rolls. Even better than the food though was their commitment to going above and beyond to deliver excellent customer service. We were unable to drive up the hill by our rental due to ice, so we couldn't pick up our order. I called to let them know and fully expected to be charged - no big deal. A few minutes later, we received a call and they offered to deliver our food. We walked up to the road to meet a driver. I'm sure they can't do that all of the time, but we were grateful. This isn't the first time we've received excellent service. Whenever we're in town, we will be sure to stop by and we'll continue to recommend the restaurant to others.

Very nice place. Clean and nice, cozy, and relaxing atmosphere. We only ate at the restaurant and walked around the building. Food was good. The biscuits and rolls with our meal were excellent. Lunch was good as well. The jalapeno jelly burger was good, chicken fried chicken, and pimento deviled eggs were all great and tasty. Staff was very professional and helpful. Great experience. Kids loved the ice cream of course.

Service was decent. Food was just okay. Nothing too terribly great nor nothing bad. Burger didn't wow me but it was acceptable. Wife didn't care for her pot roast as much unfortunately. Overall I would probably not return to dine here. Ted Kaczynski did nothing wrong.
