If you're reading Google reviews for this ferry you're thinking about the trip over. It's worth it. The ferry is nice and the guys running it at super helpful. The crew helped out loading and make the process easy enough. Be mindful of what you're bringing and pack it well. All your gear rides on the back deck of the boat. We had everything in boxes, travel bags or coolers for a 6 day stay and it worked out well. Keep your cooler size down, nothing overly large allowed. Inside is air cooled but the top deck is the best seat. Enjoy the ride and your stay.
