We've been in our new home for just over a year now and are pleased, overall, with the finished results. As a custom build for disabled people, we did get wide halls and doorways, concrete ramps at the front and back doors, pull-out drawers instead of cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms, easy-to-use fixtures and door handles, raised electric outlets, and smooth-floor-entry showers with built in benches. The changes we asked for were complied with very quickly and as requested. There were some problems which were resolved quickly. (Some circuit breakers didn't work properly, some doorcatches had to be adjusted, the shingles and a couple of Hardi-boards were nailed on with the nailgun pressure too high.) All these minor problems were fixed. Yesterday we had one board at the side of the house fall off and are currently waiting for the repairs to be done. These were unexpected problems, but with a new building, these types of things will happen. We're just thankful we chose Trademark to build our \casita.\ Our thanks to Keith and James Radcliffe for their cheerful forbearance (with us) and their professionalism in building a difficult home. UPDATE: James and the repairman arrived the day after we discovered the damaged Hardi-board and they made the repairs (can't see any evidence of the damage at all).We really have enjoyed dealing with Keith, James, and the craftsmen with Trademark Quality Homes. (And it was over a year after we moved in when we had this problem. I am totally impressed by this builder and would recommend them to family & friends.)
