DO NOT USE UNICITY SOLAR!!! Horrible customer service and utter failure to finish the job. I contracted unicity solar and my experience is nothing short of disastrous. first they came on a day they should not have due to weather. Thet got rained out and said they would return the next morning. Come 1pm the next day, no call no show. I called their number and was assured they would return. They did not. They next day they did not either. Finally on the 3rd day of a promise to appear did they finally appear with a different crew. They completed the installation, working into the evening with flashlight!. I give that crew credit. They did their best to make up for the bad communication and customer service. Thats where their efforts ended. I got my final inspection from my city and it was not approved due to the plans not matching the work. This was October!! Since then i have been given excuse after excuse but still no revised plans delivered and no final inspection has come. I have pretty solar panels on my roof that Do Nothing! I still pay the power company and now I'm paying for the loan to install this equipment that does nothing. Im investigating my legal options as they have failed to fullfill their end of the bargain. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! STAY AWAY FROM UNICITY!!

After meeting with several big name and local solar companies my wife and I decided to go with Unicity Solar because not only did they provide a quick and pressure free sales pitch, they answered all our questions thoroughly, provided several financing options and significantly beat everyone else on price even with us adding a new Hybrid water heater and energy efficient pool pump to our order. I did run into some issue with Duke Energy my first month but I Called Unicity and they took care of everything on my behalf and had my issue resolved within a day. Our system as been up and running for two months now and its working great, the new water heater works so much better then our old one and the new pool pump saves us a noticeable amount of energy. I highly recommend Unicity Solar to everyone!
Ryan and hic Crew installed my system yesterday and did a bang up job. Very professional, through and efficient. You can tell they took pride in their work. STeele, My salesman has also be very informative and responsive through this whole process. It's been a great expereince can't wait to have it turned on! Bob
Entire process was super easy! This is is second home we have added solar onto, except the first time we went with Tesla. That process took over 6 months from start to finish, and we had to keep on top of them to get any type of update. We are now only 4 months into our new home and start to finish had Unicity take only about 5 weeks total to have us literally up and running! The app is easy to use and I liked how we were able to see the progress throughout the startup process before we had our actual install. Felt we were in the loop the whole time. Great job, great installers, and happy we made this choice on the new home.
After LOTS of research, I mean LOTS, we decided to go with Unicity and are so glad we did! From the beginning to the end of this process, this company was attentive, thorough, fair, efficient, and above board in meeting our needs. They offer many options with creative financing, as well as, cash pricing making going green honestly a no-brainer. We love doing our part in reducing our carbon footprint and have increased equity in our home with Unicity's expertise! Thanks guys!
