Every member of our family has their accounts and loans with Union Square because they have always provided kind, friendly service and the lowest loan rates. Every time we buy a car, they make the loan process quick and seamless for us. We don’t even have to go to one of their branches to fill out the paperwork. They let us take care of everything electronically. It’s nice to call your credit union and have them know who you are without having to pull up your account, and that’s the type of experience Union Square always provides.
Hello, I would like to reach out and hopefully get a little more understanding and support than I have received so far. I called yesterday 05/14/2019 about a pending transaction on my account. I was told it was not a pending transaction, that it was a pending deposit. When I looked at my account later in the day the money was taken from my account. I am frustrated because I called to verify that was NOT a withdrawal from my account, was told it was a deposit and now I am 650 short in my bank account. I have called and it seems like there is nothing that can be done. I am very disappointed in my experience with Union Square. Between this and having my debit card frozen every other week because of Fraud charges or having to actually change my debit card all together I am being frustrated. I hope this helps anyone in the future chose a different local Credit Union that will actually take care of their members verses discrediting members when they actually call to verify information. Thank you for reading this. I am out of the state until this weekend; however, I promise when I get back this weekend I will be closing all accounts with Union Square Permanently. Best Regards, -M
Union Square is a place where you are appreciated as a member and where the employees will take care of things for you in a respectful and efficient way. I’ve gotten numerous car notes with them and you can sign all the documents electronically right on your phone without being in person. Great place to put your trust in.
