I went to the ER at 3:00pm on Dec 3rd. Check in was quick as was taking my vital signs. But that’s the best thing I can say. There were two people in the waiting area before myself. After waiting for two hours and never seeing anyone, I asked the two patients before me, if they had been seen. They both said NO. One lady said she had been waiting for 3hours and the other stated she had been waiting for 4 hours. Not a single employee bothered to tell anyone that there was an extremely long waiting time. I finally left and went to the ER at St Mary’s in Greensboro Ga. I was seen immediately. Only go to Thomson if you don’t have anything better to do or you have a death wish. I really don’t think they had any Dr. On staff. Never Again

Jan our night nurse was wonderful with my mother. At age 86 and dementia she was kind, a true professional and went above and beyond. Admissions was also welcoming and helpful getting a social worker to assist. Barbara the social worker at this facility is a special person and really listened and was extremely caring UH team, you are the best!!

Awful ! Absolutely awful ! All nurse staff are rude ! They hate there job. They are so rude to every patient. They could care less if u lived or died in that waiting room .
The 2 EMTs who transported me to University were superb! Arrived in ER and spent hours before being admitted; however, once on the floor the nurses were fantastic. They were very attentive and thorough. Could not have asked for any better care from the surgeon, nurses and staff.
