Took a 2018 Chevy Cruze in that had a host of electronic problems hit right as the warranty is expiring. They say the battery is causing all the problems and charged me over 500.00 to replace the battery and recalibrate the HVAC system. High price for a battery replacement and the battery wasn't causing any problems until the key wouldn't release from the ignition. I am not buying and taking to another dealership to make sure everything doesn't go haywire again.
It was a year ago that I purchased a certified, pre owned 2017 truck from Van Cadillac. THEE most worst and awkward sales transaction. following the signing of the contract,, the Van personnel progressively became rude and condescending. The financial department also followed suit when I declined to purchase a 8200.00 extended warranty! The truck was not available for delivery on 2 separate occasions. Upon final delivery, the truck had not been washed nor detailed, tail light lens was broken and fuel tank was on empty ( the body shop personnel, by the way, were polite and understanding with replacement of the tail light AND they filled my tank). A month down the road, my torque converter had required replacement. Van Cadillac was reluctant even though it was documented long time issues with GMC transmissions. Behlmann GMC, Troy. Mo. ultimately completed the job (3600) without question . Frustrated with additional issues, I decided to trade after 4 months of ownership. Reed Buick Chevrolet in St Josephs, Mo. was sympathetic to my issues and gave me a fantastic deal. Both the trade and transaction were straight forward and simple. I walked away from REED Buick a VALUED costumer. Thankyou. AJ
