Well first they have my credit card on file without my authorization and they have been charging me monthly, I do not have service with them. I called them to assist me with this fraudulently activity they brush me off because I don’t have an account with them obviously. It takes forever to reach an actual person then they promise 24 hour call back. Well Still nothing..... I refuse for my credit to go bad because of this company.

Worst business transaction in years. First they made YOU port over you phone numbers from your present provider. Took two and a half months of aggrivation to finally get our business phone numbers over to Vonage. Finally we are ready to go live. We have been paying their monthly premium now for three months without any phones. The day we go live....nothing. Come to find out that our office was on Windows 7 and there system only works on Windows 10. You would think that asking us about our operating system would be one of the first questions they asked. Nope. Plus they said our present phone would work fine and we didn't need new Polycom phones. No! Every provider puts their own programs and passwords in their phones so that they are not transferable. Kind of important to check it out first hand and they never even mentioned it. Well we had to operate our business for an entire month with my front desk using my cell phone as the main phone to contact my patients. We went back to our original provider who ported our numbers back for us and even offered a better deal and new phones. Don't be fooled by the great price, that was the only good aspect to Vonage. To top it off, they continued to auto deduct their payment for 4 months after we ended our relationship and we never had a working phone from there company. I called many times and they said they would take care of it. Why did I believe what they ever told me? I had to cancel my bank card to make it stop. The gift that just keeps on giving! If you read this review, beware and be prepared to bend over and take it. I would move on to another company because these guys do NOT know what they are doing. I hope this review stop people/businesses from trusting Vonage. I feel this is a way of getting back my 6 months of fees without ever having a working Vonage phone. All About Smiles

Began their service approximately five years ago. Had a good experience, four or five star, until the last six months. During Thanksgiving holiday, some type of software glitch has occurred and one of my three business extensions is unable to properly receive and make outbound calls. In the last 24 hours, we have initiated four \cases\, each numbered, in an attempt to have a fix. All their phone decision trees are simply designed to send customers to their online support, which is deficient in a case like ours, or, to ensure that they are paid properly, but their mission CLEARLY is not aligned with their customers, which is simply to have reliable phone service and to minimize downtime, which is what we are enjoying now! No callbacks, no hint or promise of a time when a callback is expected, no emails, nothing! Think we are going to change providers?

Could not reach anyone with a pulse today. Bounced around through their world of automation. Attempted chat support and have been waiting more than 90 minutes now. Called the residential line and immediately got a person who proceeded to transfer somewhere else and the line was dropped. Could not turn off service online. contacted credit card company to block their billing. Checked out their Facebook site and this seems to be a significant issue (or scheme). Might have to look into legal possibilities.
