Skiing was good for the small mountain. They did a good job trafficking people and keeping everyone apart and setting up outside eating options. Only complaint I have is that they closed the parking lot 1, yet there was plenty of parking available.

I purchased a lift ticket for 4-9:30pm night skiing on a Sunday thinking that Wachusett’s promise of 25% capacity coupled with night skiing on a work/school night would prove to be a less populated time. Boy was I wrong. Aren’t we still in a pandemic? There is absolutely no way the mountain was at 25% capacity. It was more crowded than a non-pandemic Saturday previously. No social distancing was enforced. Not enough signage was in place encouraging proper distancing while waiting 20 minutes in the lift line. I observed a worker not wear his mask while loading guests on the chairlift. I am also disappointed in the guests who I spotted not wearing masks and who constantly bumped my skis from behind while I waited in the lift line. Skiing is an outdoor activity and should be a safer pandemic experience, but unfortunately I felt unsafe waiting in line for far too long when next to disrespectfully close and improperly masked guests. I won’t be coming back here for a while unfortunately.

A great surprise! Lifts were ran quickly and efficiently during the week and I enjoyed the slopes. They kept great maintenance on them and kept them groomed. The rental process is the quickest I've ever experienced and they really have that dialed in. The whole process from getting lift tax to getting my skis took 15 minutes max. Returns was even easier.

Pros: Easiest mountain to get to from south coast. Snow conditions were excellent. Cruisers are decent for a small mountain. It’s in Massachusetts in case you’re one of the small percentage of people following the travel rules. Cons: Lift lines were very long even on a Tuesday morning non-holiday. Value is getting to be awful with current rates and capacity. COVID adjustments are all window dressing... I still think it’s safe overall due to the outdoor nature of the activity itself, but don’t put up a bunch of signs, charge more money for less skiing, and pretend you’re doing something differently.

Mountain for hiking and skiing. You can arrive the summit by car and park there. Wheelchair accessible summit. Some parking areas cost 5 for MA residents. Welcome office has vending machine in front of it. Paper maps of the trails are available beginning of the trails near the welcome center. There are quite a few spots for looking down and taking photos. Edit: I went there for the second time and took the lift during October. It was lovely. The view of fall colors is spectacular. Roundtrip per person is 10 and only going down per person 8. The last lift was at 3.40pm. Try it!! So fun! Lifts can have 4 people and they have a safety rod.
