I went in shopping for records so this review is based on the retail side and not on the repair services provided by the business. I read one of the reviews that said there were great prices and that couldn't be farther from the truth. Every record I personally picked up was over 20 dollars, most of which were 25.99. The actual record players were between 150 and 300. I brought 20 hoping to pick up a few records and ended up walking out without anything. I found a couple cool records across the street in a different store for a dollar each. I just don't see where the demand is to keep prices that high. If you are an avid record music listener or maybe have some nostalgia associated with records, I could see you spending these prices. Anyone else, I highly suggest avoiding this store.

So glad that Adam took over this space and opened The Record Krate! It's awesome that Wake Forest has its own record store now. Great prices and selection. Highly recommended!
Awesome Store! Tons of Great Records, Cassettes, CDs and many more! Located in a fantastic spot right in downtown Wake Forest! Come check them out! They have a friendly staff ready to answer any questions you might have. Love this store!
This place is under new management, and is a great place to shop. There is tons of vinyl - new and used, many titles under 5, as well as CDs, cassettes, and even movies. They're also now open in the evenings and weekends when I'm off work. I'm glad to have a full record store in Wake Forest.
Check this place out, music peeps. It's the new location for the Record Krate Wake Forest. Different owner and lots of new and used LPs and other stuff. A great stop before catching a show at the Wake Forest Listening Room/Magnolia Roots Music Lounge across the street.
This place in now The Record Krate and has a "Krate" new owner! Under new management, there are some great records, DVDs, Blurays, etc. there. And the DVDs and Blurays are only 1!! Check it out!
I don't think I've ever felt so unwelcome at a store- the owner seemed absolutely convinced I was a criminal (despite giving him no reason) and watched me like a hawk the whole time. I was relieved to leave. And to top matters off, the prices are absurd.
DON'T TRUST THIS BUSINESS!!!! The owner, who recently died charged me 100 for a diagnosis but was NEVER open when I went to pick up my TV. Today 4/3/19 they were open . I went in and was told the old man died I should call his wife BETH which I did. She told me "there was NOTHING she could do and that my TV was gone" so basically I gave this crook 100 of my hard earned money. Lesson learned DONT PATRONIZE A SMALL BUSINESS!!!!!!!!! CROOKS!!!!!!!!!
