I recently had a knee injury that caused me a lot of pain and discomfort. I was concerned about the lasting implications of the injury as I am an active person. I went to see Dr. Kitay and thank goodness I did. She is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. She took her time and really listened to me as I described my concerns. We worked together to determine the best approach for treatment that worked for my lifestyle. In addition, I would be remiss if I did not mention what a great staff she has as well. They were very helpful and put me immediately at ease. This is a fantastic practice. This is the first time I have written a review but after my experience there I felt compelled to write this review. Thank you, Summit Orthopedics!

Did not listen to issue and when I sought a second opinion . Turned out she was completely wrong. Had she listened . I would have been treated properly. Surgery was indicated and completed. Hopefully I will recover .

Fantastic doctor! Knowledgeable, gentle hand and great bedside manner! Towards the end of my pregnancy I started having pain on my left wrist and it only got worst after my daughter’s birth. By 8 weeks I could hardly pick my baby up or even open a door. I had a telemedicine consult and right away she diagnosed me with de Quervain syndrome and suggested a course of action. A week or so later I went to her office to get a shot of cortisone as it was so extremely painful. I was quite scared as people I know had had and told me the shot was quite painful and unpleasant. Dr. Kitay’s hand is so gentle I was still waiting to get the shot when she had finished! The above happened about 7 weeks ago and my wrist has been great since. Thank you dr Kitay!

Awesome doctor. I specifically sought her out and she fixed my hand, kept me informed, and made sure I was progressing through with OT. Also is helping me fix my shoulder.
