Lam Couture is the best tailor and I have tried MANY. I shopped endlessly for a wedding dress and could not find one that had everything I wanted. After speaking with Lam Couture, Kathy and Lan helped me design the wedding dress of my dreams! It fit me perfectly and it was more beautiful than any other wedding dress I have seen or even imagined I would be wearing. Not only that, but I have also had suits made by them prior to this many times for work, plus my husband also loves their suits and shirts as well. Their attention to detail is amazing and they really take into consideration what you want, as well as offer their own expert advice if you have any questions at all. Thank you so much for making the wedding dress of my dreams! (Luckily I had my wedding in January 2020 before COVID).

My bridesmaid dress for a friend's wedding got delayed because of COVID and by the time it arrived it was just a few weeks before the wedding. The dress was HUGE on me--probably a full two sizes off. I had three different places tell me the dress was too complicated to fix because of the extensive beading, especially on such a short timeline. Lam Couture saved me! They did a beautiful job on a complicated project on a tight schedule. It fits perfectly and looks like it was made for me. And the ladies were just a delight to work with. Can't recommend more highly!
Probably one of the best, if not the best, tailors is in the DC area. I’ve taken many garments, casual and formal, to be altered all sorts of ways and they have never failed me once! I recently had a bespoke suit and tuxedo made by them and they did not disappoint. Their suit prices are very competitive! For a bespoke suit the price will depend on the quality of fabric but I paid much less for a full-canvas suit than I paid for an off the rack one at Canali in CityCenter. They got the suit done in about 4 weeks and another week for final alterations. I highly recommend them for all tailoring and bespoke needs. Will definitely be going back for my next suit!
Lam Couture is a gem. I started going there a few months ago to get clothes tailored, and they always did a great job - impeccable attention to detail and quality. I recently had Kathy & Lan make a suit for me, and it is perfect, easily the best I have owned. If you are looking for a tailor who is better than the standard neighborhood dry cleaners, this is the place for you!
They are experts at alterations and their custom clothes are beautiful! Would recommend highly!
