I have been trying to handle a matter with the SSA for about 3years. They have sent letters to me to come to the office and when I go, it’s always overcrowded and a tremendous long wait. When I finally met with a rep, I explained to her about my case which took about 45 minutes for her to comprehend the issue and how it was not my fault. She then understood and forwarded the case to another worker. I made several attempts via phone to reach the other person but was unsuccessful. I left messages on voice mails, with a live person and received no response. However the SSA stopped sending me letters regarding my issue. I don’t trust it. It is very hard to handle business with them over the phone and in person. It is 2020 and they still don’t have processes and procedures to operate effectively. They need a lot of help with their business model and they fail at helping the people in the area. The customer service is poor and everything is poor in what they do. Does anyone know how to file a grievance against the SSA?

They need to get on ONE ACCORD when it comes to ACCURATELY communicating polices and requirements to customers. The security guards need to focus on SECURING the premises, than assisting customers with help they should receive from the agents working there. They need to have ON SITE WORKING computers available, so customers will have option to complete tasks electronically via the website. They need to ensure the water fountains are WORKING and FLOWING good FILTERED water.

Very rude and unprofessional customer service. They have my records on file but did not contact me. The representative was very short and would not let me speak or discuss my issue. Instead he becomes very irate and would not let me speak to a manager.
