I got in late last night. I realized that no one had been checking the oil level while I was gone. And I went down and realized that it was completely empty. Called the after hours dispatcher. She was very sympathetic and very understanding that I didn’t have oil. She said she’d call to see if any of the drivers were still out but they had all just come in. She informed me to run over and get diesel and that one of her drivers would be here first thing in the morning. At 6:45 this morning, the driver was filling my tank. I’ve been with them for 20 years and they still go above and beyond for their customers. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

Customer service representative is very unreasonable for a new customers concerns. I called to be educated on the amount of oil needed I’m new from NY to CT and this representative made me feel like I was dumb or something. Aren’t they there to guide and inform their new customers of the amounts of oils needed or what’s best to look for when ordering oil. I would never recommend Dime oil to anyone.

Reckless drivers. I was getting off 91 to go on 691 today and a driver raced around all the cars behind us and cut me off by maybe 10 feet to spare. I was in shock, especially because it is an oil truck with a big red hazmat placard in the back. Then he proceeded to swerve several times. I had to get the company name in the door, so in order for me to catch him i had to do 90mph, he was doing over 80mph. Then he cut accross 2 lanes while speeding to get off exit 8 in meriden. WOW! You cannot operate a tanker like that. There is a special endorsement that is required to operate a tanker due to the special handling that is needed due to the fluid shift in the tank which causes momentum force and can cause the tanker to spin out if driven like that. Even worse, he was loaded with hazmat. -Reckless driving -Speeding -illegal passing -All the above while operating a commercial vehicle -All the above while handling hazardous materials.

they suggested I call Thurston fuel and then they hung up on me so ifif that how you folks want to be treated run to Dime oil Beth and Karen are good the dispatcher isn't Nitwit. Nota Bene: the best description of the dispatcher is that of an unctuous prevaricator...look it up... to the owner..if this isn't the result of nepotism, you might want to review his ability to do the job in a courteous manner, skills he apparently lacked during today's discourse.
