After a filling fell out, I called the closest dentist. Dr Rutledge repaired the filling and was extremely nice and seemed professional... however, days, weeks, months later, the tooth he worked, on continued to hurt and throb.They told me it would go away every time I called. Finally, I went to my old dentist near Birmingham and had to have a root canal. Dr. Rutledge was not willing to investigate the pain any further, which is very unprofessional.

Dr. Rutledge and the support staff are exceptional. They take the time to do it right with as little discomfort as possible. Processes and PPE usage put in place due to the COVID-19 events seem thorough and effective. Patients wait in their vehicle and the dental assistant comes to your vehicle to take your temperature and ask the key questions about your recent history. After this initial reaction, the patient is taken directly to a dental chair for their procedure. Worked well. No waiting room stays required.

First off, I need to say I’m very scared to go to the dentist... I visited 3 dental offices before going to see Dr. Rutledge... he was so down to earth (staff as well) that I have no problem going to the dentist now. It took 48 yrs to finally not have to be afraid to go to the dentist. He & the staff there take their time to explain & go over everything that need be. I’m VERY grateful to have found Dr. Rutledge & Dr. Martin.... & of course their staff.... TRULY GRATEFUL ️
