Amazing service, great church to go to

1115 service. Not a great church for new new people. No greeters, no hello. Hard for new people to feel welcome there. Need 7 to 8 touches. Music and worship was good. Then the pastor encouraged hugs after the worship time. Ugh, sorry, not for me to hug a stranger and especially during flu season. That's just me though. Filled out a card as a new person, which I found on the back of the seat. I did not know what to do with it after filling it out. Have to understands we love God because he first loves us. Holy communion, When you hold the bread in your hand, you are coming in touch with the greatest expression of God's love. This love made Him endure the cruel stripes on His back and caused Him to subject His body to be beaten, bruised and broken so that yours can be whole. And when you partake, you celebrate and release your faith to receive His health and wholeness in exchange for your sicknesses and diseases.

For almost four year my family has called West Salem Four Square our church. We love attending here with our four children ages 4-14. The way that, not only the staff, but the body as a whole pours into our children is amazing. We as parents understand that it’s our responsibility to teach our children and create an environment in our home for them to experience Jesus, but having a real church body that also sows into our family has been a constant source of encouragement for not only our kids but also us as parents. This is a church that I believe is constantly pursuing Christ at the center of what they do. No church is perfect , but what I will say about the leadership at this church is that they really love Jesus and that they lead as true servants. Matthew 6:33
