Went into the appointment with an open mind about possible injury and received news I didn't want to hear. However Dr Miely and Cece were both very informative and very caring. Made the news easier to take. Both of them were amazing and I would recommend them 100%.

It has been almost 7 years since Dr. Miely examined my mom, told her she had stenosis, and would be in a wheel chair if she didn’t have surgery. A week before she had surgery, she was walking with her grandson on a Florida beach. After the surgery, we saw the doctor ONE time! He has no bed side manner, he hit nerves while doing the surgery, which caused her to have paralysis in her hands, arms and legs. She can’t turn her head because of a large rod he inserted, and the scar from the surgery looks hideous! His nurse CeCe would become snarky when I would call to say she’s getting worse, and continued to tell me.... YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT TIME, DONNA! My brother and I feel guilt everyday for listening to the doctor. PLEASE!!!! Do your research, and if possible... take pain meds, eat a good diet, and exercise. Anything to avoid surgery, and PLEASE do your homework when searching for a doctor, and get several opinions!!!! Doctors are not always right!!! I know several people who have stenosis and, although they may be dealing with pain, at least they have quality of life. Dr. Miely took that away from my mom. I’m writing this today, through tears, as I spent the day with my mom, watching her try to function like a normal person. It saddens me deeply that we can’t do mother/daughter things like we use to. He deserves ZERO stars!!

I think Dr. Miley is an excellent doctor. He performed one surgery on me and helped me so much. I’m back again and won’t hesitate to have him work on me a second time!

Dr. Miely performed my laminectomy, discectomy last year and the pain relief and sciatica symptoms receded immediately. I’m a year post-op and although I have some stiffness in my back from time to time I’m no longer in severe pain. Spinal surgery is something I was a little uptight about, but it was just another day in the office for Dr M! Thanks Doc!!

I had spinal fusion surgery 9 years ago by Dr. Miely. In June I had serious lower back pain. I went to see Dr Miely on 66/13/17. He said I had some irritation and spinal stenosis/arthritis. He prescribed Mobic and Physical Therapy. I had a follow up visit 7/25/17. During the follow up visit, I got the feeling he had the wrong patient. He asked how my legs were doing. I had not had any issues with my legs. I to,d him it was lower back pain. He looked at my back and said it was healing nicely. I told him it should be, I had surgery 9 years ago! He didn't have my chart with him and he was very vague. I will not be back to see him for any future issues.

4 years ago I had severe sciatica and (sorry, I don't remember the clinical term, but) problems with some lower lumbar discs, to the point where I was in constant pain for months and needed a wheelchair or assistance to walk. Dr. Miely performed the surgery. There was no pain after the surgery. I was back on my legs — minus pain, and without the need of a walker — in less than 2 weeks! I would go to him again if need be, in a heartbeat!
