This place is kinda like the Pick-N-Save of sports stores (although it is more organized). What you find will be less expensive than other sports stores, but you are not guaranteed to find what you need here, or a selection. The staff has always been really friendly and nice, and *bonus* employees get a discount.

Over the years we have brought our bikes in for repairs and service to many different shops in eastern Fairfield County. In our experience, this is the best bicycle repair shop in the area, hands down. Slav, their chief mechanic, is well known as a wizard, and his reputation is deserved. We don't live nearby, but we wouldn't consider taking our bikes anywhere for service.
Visited here today just to see what leftover winter jackets they had. I can see there was at one point a wide high end variety ! But most have been purchased since it's now the end of January. They had really nice selection of hiking shoes and rubbing shoes as well as winter shoes. Will definitely be coming back here for hiking shoes and outdoor wear, maybe even a Kayak.
I came in to shop for shoe insoles because my hiking boots were killing me on my long trips. After reviewing my itinerary with one of the reps he made a suggestion to change my boots entirely and so I did. It is the best purchase I've ever made. The boots fit me like a glove and I've taken them on two trips - 5 days plus - and every time I thank the Outdoor Sports rep who convinced me to change shoes. They are amazing!
This is our top place to come and get our skis ready for the season, and also our regular go to for getting our skis cleaned up and safely stored for the summer, after the winter season is over! The customer service is top notch, and I've never left the store without being 100% satisfied. They have fantastic options for all sorts of outdoor clothing and gear, and we are so glad that we live close enough to stop in whenever we have an inkling for some great selections, and fabulous customer service!
