It's been a while but it was a decent learning enviroment while not to difficult .. great sports way back to 84 . All positive.

It’s...fine. Almost everyone here tries their best, even if the test scores aren’t the best. The sports department needs better coaches and more resources. The atmosphere is not quite modern. The sense of a crime problem, while not very overt or fear-inducing, is still pervasive. Definitely some lazy types and some macho, hyper aggressive types of all races, creeds, and genders, and the students have a poor sense of community (you can easily figure out how little contact is made or overlap there is between the artsy hippie-hipster types with too many piercings and tattoos and rainbow hair, the home ec queens and kings, the band geeks, the FFA members, the computer geeks, the future engineers and grease monkeys, the jocks, the skateboarder slackers, and the working poor, down-to-earth regular folk) but overall, you can’t help but approve. The teachers are awesomely dedicated to their students and their work. You can tell how enthusiastic they are. The music department is indubitably the best in the world!

Not a great school but not a bad one either. Weapons brought everyday? not when I went there. 99% wont graduate... out of a class of 700 or so more than 70% graduated. where do you get your numbers reviewers? Rifles. we got locked down when someone made a gun shaped thing in wood shop. stop lying to people. Just because you didn't graduate doesn't mean that there weren't very successful people out of there. Try studying, ask questions when you have trouble. They have all the courses you could need to get into college. What more can you expect from a public school in a middle income city?

I mean, it's fine if you don't do pre cal or calculus. God have mercy upon your soul if you try that. Otherwise, pretty okay, I guess. Come for a visit, stay for the Band room.
