I have been going to Woody's golf range for the past five years and have been a VIP member for two. I have always had great customer service and the range is always in top shape. Due to the putt-putt course being close to some of the range stalls, there will be some distractions if you are hitting from those stalls. There are stalls available well away from the putt-putt course if distractions bother you. I have found myself hitting close to the putt-putt course lately to train myself to block out distractions and found that it has helped me on the course. I will continue to give Woody's my business and I commend them for running a top notch operation.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!! Wait until the horrible owners go out of business and have to sell it to someone who appreciates their customers. I was visiting Virginia last week helping my sister with her children while her husband was gone for work for the week. I played mini golf there on Monday at 11AM with my mom, dad, sister, and her 3 year old and 5 month old daughters. The 5 month old obviously couldn't play and my mom and dad were going to take care of her in the stroller and not play, while my sister, niece, and I played. The ungrateful cashier wanted to charge my mom, dad, and baby 10.50 each to simply walk with us and watch. Instead of having a nice family outing, my dad stayed behind with the baby while my sister, mom, niece, and I played golf. With about 4 holes left, the baby needed to feed and my dad came into the course so she could eat. He stayed with us for the last 4 holes and after finishing, the course employee was standing near the green with her arms crossed while giving us dirty looks. I also overheard hear say to another employee, "I told him not to go in there!" We were the only people on he course and woody's should be thankful that we were there to give them business on an early Monday morning. Woody's.......I'm so sorry my baby niece needed to eat. But don't worry, we will never go to your place again until you go out of business and have to sell it. My sister will be telling all of the local groups she is in not to support you so hopefully you will be out of business as soon as possible!

I can see why they'd charge for anyone to walk through. A great theme idea for mini golf, had lots of fun there. Too bad its closed down now.

I went here with my girlfriend this past weekend and did the miniature golf. Though there were a lot of people, the flow of customers was very well managed, it didn't feel crowded at all. The mini golf course itself is decked out in all kinds of jungle special effects like water-spitting cobras, hissing iguanas, and talking witch doctors. The holes themselves are probably simpler than most miniature golf courses: even through hole 18 they don't get very complicated. The special effects and jungle theme however make this course anything but boring and each hole being a par 2 or 3 actually keeps the line of customers from getting backed up I think. Total all 18 holes took about 1.5 hours with maybe 15 minutes of that being wait time. If you want to feel like Indiana Jones with a golf club give this place a shot!

NOTE: Woody's Golf does not know who I am nor was this review paid for by them. It is not a sales review, rather a real life family review from a mom who lives in the area. I am SHOCKED by the bad reviews of this place. I have two boys, 8, and 6, and we go here 5 to 10 times every year - day and night (night is so very cool). They are clear in their policy they charge everyone who goes into the Perils of the Lost Jungle, even if you don't play. Can that be expensive? Yes. Have you seen this place? Guess why they charge... This isn't just putt putt, it is an immersive experience for all ages. Heck - we don't even keep score, we just kick the ball around to go see all the cool stuff. It is just scary enough my scaredy cat youngest boy gets excited but not too frightened and my brave older boy "takes on the pyramid" or "talks about how the quicksand could take us all down". It is a total blast. When to go: If the lines are long, try going after school or on off hours. You can have the whole coarse to yourselves. Also try the sunny, breezy days or evenings when it is not too hot. It is absolutely beautiful on those days. What I know about the owners: These guys have put their heart and soul into making it the most amazing course for family fun in the industry. I personally owned a kid business and worked with hundreds of owners, including the owners of Woody's. They were in the top 3 business owners I had the pleasure to work with and we have personally used them for our birthday parties as well. Woody's has some of the kindest and most professional people that built and manage this place. The cost to build and update this course has to be extremely expensive (remember, I worked with this industry for years, I know my stuff). I am grateful people like the owners of Woody's continue to work with the general public everyday. Guys - keep up the amazing work! We will follow you wherever you go. We've seen a lot of places and you are still our favorite.

Can't believe one of the last remaining & interesting mini golf places closed down. I especially enjoyed Perils of the Lost Jungle at night.

Went to use the batting cages with my 11yr old son. It's 20 balls (pitches) for 2. Twice the machine jammed at the 6 pitch mark. I told the attendant at the booth and he just said, "sorry". He didn't get up to fix it or offer me another 20 pitches (1 token). Bad customer service. Not sure we'll return
