Ms. Young got me in under the wire for suit and tux alterations right before my wedding day. She is kind, professional and courteous. I have recommended friends and family to her. She did a fantastic job with little time at a fair price. If you communicate clearly what it is you need alterations wise, she will deliver what you asked for on time. A

I have a ton of respect for her skill and precision. I have taken several items to her for alterations. She made my clothing look like each item was made specifically for me. She's kind of pricey, but I don't mind because the quality of her work is top notch.

One star is one too many for this unprofessional Seamtress. Prior to going I called and told her exactly what I needed to get done. Just some sleeve alterations. She told me to come in so she can see the dress. When I got there she asked me to try my dress on and I asked how much it would be. She told me a price I felt was too high. I then told her to just tighten sleeve and shorten sleeves and she agreed to do it for the price I asked. She then changed her mind and gave me original price. I kindly declined and didn’t agree to it, told her I would let her know if I change my mind. She called me cheap, a bad lady, threw the pins in dress all over the floor towards me, and tossed my dress back at me and told me to get out. What is worse is she did this in front of my 4 year old who I have to be a good example for. As if that wasn’t enough, she proceeded to slam the door behind us. A customer is NOT obligated to agree to your prices, and you aren’t obligated to agree to the price point they are willing to pay. But to sit there and insult, assume someone is filthy rich because of their culture, and kick someone out of your house is down right rude. The only reason she has good reviews on here is because these people agreed to her outrageous prices, those who don’t will have the same experience as I did (refer to her low reviews). On the bright side, I was able to find someone to do my dress a lot cheaper than her quote as well.
