What a perfect place, just the kind of shop that makes you love to shop local! Great selection of bikes, and amazing staff who have helped us get the exact bikes we needed for our younger kids. I love they service each bike before it's sold, and can tune them up as the season goes on. Just a wonderful purchasing experience!

I've been going to 3rd coast bicycles for several years for all my bike needs. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable! I'd highly recommend them for your needs as well, you won't be disappointed!
My very tall 5 year old got a 20" bike for her birthday. Putting training wheels on a bike that size is no easy task when the back axel is maxed out ! But they did it! Ordered the extension bolt, put everything on and made sure it was safe! Very knowledgeable from the get go! Bonus points for having a friendly 'shop dog' for my younger ones to giggle about while we wait.
I've heard good things but being CLOSED 3 days a week sucks. This is the 3rd time I've wanted to stop in and shop and the 3rd time they have been closed.
All the staff here are excellent, knowledgeable, friendly, patient people. They stock quality stuff, and they give honest opinions. When I bought my bike, they were willing to personally bring it down from Milwaukee when they didn't have my size frame in stock. This is the kind of local business worth supporting!
I think this is the only bike shop in town besides Trek. Don't go to Trek! They're the Walmart of the cycling world, own several other brands, and make very few of their own bikes in WI now. Loved them when they were new, but they have done everything possible to completely undersell and buyout any competition, and have 90% of their bikes made in Taiwan. 3rd Coast is a great, friendly, independent shop.
I have found my new bike shop - 3rd Coast Bicycles!!!!! Even though there is a popular bike shop 3 blocks from my house - I go 3 miles out of my way to go here. The reason - Don is awesome. He's the owner and is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about biking. I had an upcoming triathlon and needed a fitting and tune-up. Not only was the turn around quick, but they (Don and Ben, the bike tech) did a great job. I felt a huge difference on the bike fitting, and dramatically saw a huge difference on my time performance. I also had some issues with my bike and Don immediately saw the issue, knew the problem and fixed it at a phenomenal price. Bottom line: - the best service - fast, friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable service - great value for the price (the bike fitting was the lowest price I've ever seen) - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 3RD COST BICYCLES!!! In addition, they are moving to a new location 4x the size of their current location - Don must be doing something right!! Thanks Don and Ben!!
We were in town for the weekend and wanted to ride bikes down by the lake. This rental shop was only a few blocks away from where we were staying so we walked there. We arrived and the gentleman at the desk welcomed us and got us hooked up with some beach cruiser bikes. Very inexpensive! He was so friendly and gave us great ideas for supper that night. He made us feel very welcomed! Would absolutely go back again. Great service for a great price. It was so much fun.
