We have heard about Pappadeaux for a couple of years, so we finally decided to give it a try. WOW! What an impressive experience! Despite an enormous parking lot, it was nearly full. We were expecting understandably slow service. However, that as not the case. We were seated immediately. The flow of service was perfect, and the food was phenomenal with gigantic servings. We all took home leftovers which made a delicious lunch the next day.

This restaurant is big, has outdoor seating weather permitting, bar area seating and general area seating. There is a wait and depending on the evening and time could be up to 40 minutes, however there is seating around the bar and the booths around the bar are open to first come, which we didn’t know or would’ve sit there, hostess needs to let us know that when coming in. Wife and I had some drinks while waiting and they were priced averagely, bar staff was attentive and friendly. Most all the staff I encounter was proper, respectful and friendly. Once seated it took our waiter about 2-3 minutes to greet us, mind you there was a lot people and groups there on Saturday evening, so be patient. Our waiter was outstanding, welcoming and we ordered immediately. Wife and I shared sausage and seafood gumbo for appetizer and it was delicious, however could’ve went without the clams; UGH! We shared the 8oz lobster which was perfect, with mashed potatoes and broccolini (that was delicious and has a little spice kick). The food was enough for us to share as we don’t eat much, overall a great dinking experience, menu prices are expensive and we also received military discount which I’m thankful for.

What an absolutely exquisite experience. The staff treated us as royalty. With an enchanting scenery that was truly picturesque. Truly, the best meal I have had in quite some time. As for seafood the best by far. This was truly fit for a Queen and her valentine's day King. Sorry I did not take picture of our food. Lobster bisque light and savory , seafood sampler every thing just melts in your mouth. Shrimp and grits sweet, savory and delectable. Special thanks to the gentleman who helped me with my child lock dilemma in my car! #newmom The humanity and willingness to help really made our night go well.

I came here for the first time with my partner for an early Valentine's day date and I have to say the service was incredible. Their drinks are also delicious and highly recommend. The food is also very good. Also recommend the fried alligator. My waitress was patient as I had ordered catfish and for fried catfish, instead of the Mississippi plate. 10/10

I had the giant shrimp and grits. It was very good. Great table away from everyone. Why no one sits in the alcove who knows. It's the best spot especially in these times. Go out. Est tasty food. Treat yoself
