I have a family friend's loved one that was staying at this facility who was treated so poorly. There were multiple circumstances where she had unexplained bruises on her, all of which were undocumented. She was not being fed at each meal time. Thankfully her family was able to visit her and see she was not being taken care of properly. When the family did try to contact the facility to get answers of the poor treatment and lack of documentation they received no answers. If you have a loved one in this facility I would transfer them immediately. If you are not able to, please keep a close eye on your loved one and facility. I would never EVER let my loved one or ANYONE I know stay here. I am sure this facility is understaffed, like most, but this is unacceptable.

Wish I could give it 0 stars. Multiple times my grandma had bruises on her with no documentation done to explain how or why they got there. They didn't feed her multiple times and made her lose way too much weight (which she has gained back now that she's at a different place). When we called to complain, no action was taken. If you care about your family do not send them here. Also I’ve never been an employee of this place and so I’m not sure what they’re talking about. No violation has been made
First of all Daytona Smyth was never an employee of Abbey Woods therefore her review is not a conflict of interest. That said my mother was a resident of Abbey Woods, her weight continued to drop for unknown reasons. She gained 5 pounds in a matter of one week at her new facility. I have pictures of unexplained bruises on her from when she was at Abbie Woods. When questioned about the bruises I didn’t get a response until the second time I asked and I was told oh she probably fell. I believe that information is to be documented so there are no unexplained bruises. There was poor communication and property went missing. Still waiting for the state to reply from the 5 complaints filed.
I have a family friend whose grandmother was at this facility & was treated extremely poorly. She had undocumented bruising and missed multiple meals. I don’t wish these unfortunate circumstances on anyone. If you care about your family find a different facility.
Some of the staff was very nice. Others were super rude. Wasnt very clean and maintaned at all. Management favored certain people. Would not send a loved there of mine. No way! Physical therapy there on the other hand was amazing.
