I've been in a number of these small Sears Hometown stores and they remind me of the K-Marts of later years: dated, disorganized and just a bit sad. They are slowly disappearing -- I know the one in Lumberton is gone -- and it's likely that it won't be around much longer, unfortunately. I went into this store to see what the hand and power tool options were and quickly realized I would need to go elsewhere to find what I was looking for. It's a shame -- I grew up on the heyday Sears of the 70's and 80's and it was once a grand store and organization. It shows you how important adaptation and flexibility are in changing times.

Fair price combined with outstanding service, professionalism, from an active contributor to our community. We purchased a refrigerator during the initial worrisome days of the Covid-19 pandemic when freezers were back-ordered and refrigerators in low stock. After researching availability on-line and \in-store\ visits we stopped by Sears. Staff was knowledgeable and personable. They worked to find corporate discount and availability. The price included delivery and installation. We were updated via email and the refrigerator was delivered three days after purchase. Delivery was full service, to include installation. We highly recommend the Sears experience.

The sales person I encountered was very unprofessional. He was dishonest about the finance and lease options leaving out important details that any customer should know before signing up. When brought to his attention he claimed he \thought he told me\ . I also had to wait an extended timeframe because he made an error with my order. I ended up cancelling in the end because of his lack of integrity. Also, the manager on duty did not even try to apologize for the situation and acted like he could care less. I ended up going to a different appliance store with professional customer service and having my order complete in a timely manner.

Always love going into Sears, especially with my kids. Jason there is also a fantastic employee, just helped me a ton while calling in. After about a 5 minute call he still called me by name in his closing. You don't get service that good in retail much these days.

It completely saddens me to see the demise of such a great organization. My visit was great. I was given such attention that I left with a smile on my face. Prices and availability were perfect.
