I currently live at this place and at first I thought it would be a very nice place to live in but then things just kept getting worse and worse. The staff in the office is very unhelpful and show little to no care to anyone in the building or who needs help from them. It is literally impossible to get a hold of anybody, they do not answer calls or texts! We are in the middle of a pandemic and none of them wear masks when they come into our units. They won’t inform anybody if there are any issues in the building. For months the garage door was broken and a lot of the residents and I felt unsafe and that our things could potentially get broken into. The management of this place is terrible.

I’m a student and I was gonna lease here. Fortunately I didn’t... I don’t even remember what her name was but she did a really good job

I think im repeating my comments but it seems peaceful, frequent updates to building maintenance, lots of areas to study and complete work for self/job/or academics plus this student your student living just steps from California State University - Sacramento's Hornet Crossing. A very short walk from campus.

Like other parents that left a review, I have had horrible experiences. Where do I start. Let's start with communication. Since my daughter has leased this apartment for about a year now. I have left about 6 messages and a dozen emails. I have gotten 1 call back and 1 email back. The last couple of days their phone just says all circuits are busy. Several times I had to drive all the way to Sac just to get someone to talk to. Most recently the reason I need to talk to someone is unethical lease practices and price gouging on the upcoming lease. Students are sent out leases to sign that don't even need their parents to apparently sign even though we are financially responsible. They told me that they didn't need my signature to make the lease valid because I signed a form the first year that unethically stated that this would be good for all future leases. How can I be liable for a lease I never signed and on top of it all they increased the rent by 25%. A rent increase of 25% for an apartment my daughter hasn't used since February and on top of it all to price gouge during a pandemic. I submitted a claim through the CA Attorney General Office and the BBB. I encourage all of you parents to do the same. I was willing to work with them and honor the lease as long as they at the very least keep the rent close to what is was or at least within the legal limit of 10% during a pandemic. I rarely write reviews unless a business is exceptional or exceptionally BAD and in this case this place is exceptionally BAD.
