This office is very inconsistent it's not even funny! Problems....1. Had a schedule appointment. Which took a month to get. Two other people were being seen at my given time! Even a walk in! 2. Angelia stated my proof of residence was invalid because my address was on the envelope versus the paper inside the envelope! 3. My husband had to sign an affidavit even though all paper work was in MY name! Angelia didn't even check his ID to make sure he was who he stated. 4. I had to have my marriage license even though it wasn't stated I need it. Also my SSN has my married name on it! 5. My signature on the paperwork was fine, but when signing my signature on their electronic it was an issue. On my ew\ license I'll have a signature that's not how I sign my name! 6. All proof of registration Angelia felt the need to read all paperwork? I have lived in several stated and NEVER had such inconsistencies or issues with a DMV! Very unprofessional on all aspects!!

Nice office. Quick, friendly and efficient experience. Only open Tuesday and Thursday, so plan accordingly.

Was pulled over tonight by Texas trooper in Alpine Texas. I was very very scared, but the young man who pulled me over was so polite and so helpful that I have to say something wonderful about him. I didn't catch his name, but he was professional and very sweet. I couldn't find my way back to our campsite because I'm unfamiliar with the area. He was very understanding and we found our way home with no problem. Thank you so much to the Texas state troopers for being as professional and sweet as this young man was. We'll be back and, although I hope never to meet any of you under these circumstances again, I'm grateful that you're out there protecting us! Thank you so much! We love you!

It beggars belief that the customer service is so poor at this location that the entire town of Alpine and all the surrounding cities who are at the mercy of this office are painfully aware of it. And most of it stems from the one employee who is behind the counter most days. I attempted to get my license about six weeks ago and was told that it went through but for some reason wouldn't generate the actual physical license. She said she would call the next day so I could pick it up. Never called. I went back a week later to see what the deal was and she snapped at me and told me \I said I would CALL when it was ready!\....The next time I went she shut the doors and told the couple who was leaving that she was closing early......pathetic. I guess I will have to go to another town, but that is ridiculous.

The woman running this place should not be dealing with the public. Rude, tardy and only interested in her own well being.
