From my personal experience, there is no senior home care provider in town like us with great depth of experience, and/or great understanding. The team in office also has FANTASTIC communication skills and the abilities to find the right match between caregiver and clients. We are very responsive and compassionate at the same time. I really enjoy working here.

I was excited to find employment at Amada as a caregiver as I was told when I applied that the hours were there and that they would be flexible with my full time job hours as well. This in fact was not the case. I waited more than two weeks after having orientation to actually be put on the schedule. No big deal as I had other income to fall back on. Until recently when I parted ways with my full time position and was told by Summer at Amada that I would be able to pick up as many hours as I needed. I then spoke to her again after some of my hours were taken and she told me it was now hard for them to place new caregivers in homes that already had the same caregivers on a daily basis. Some more time goes by and I keep getting offers for over nights which I am unable to work due to only having one vehicle between my spouse and I. Or they would call me 15/30 minutes before a scheduled visit and ask me to work because the scheduled caregiver called out or no showed. Today they sent me an email saying due to my schedule complications that they would be removing me, which is fine, because this place lacks serious communication between the team. This includes everyone within the office and the caregivers. The lack of communication within this establishment is concerning. Not only as an employee, but if I was a family looking for care and I knew the company I had chosen is hardly communicating with their employees and keeping them updated in a timely manner, I would choose a different home health provider.

I had an amazing experience as a caregiver with Amada Senior Care in Omaha. As a graduate student, they were flexible with my busy class schedule. They provided multiple opportunities for me to advance within the company. The experience I got from working with the company has increased by ability and skills for how to provide quality care to clients. I would recommend them to family and friends for caregiving needs and employment.

Emily Stevens cares about Amada clients, their families, and seniors in general. She is well versed in Long-Term Care Insurance and can help guide you through the process and getting the most out of your policy.

Emily of Amada took time to review our Long Term Care policy and provided valuable insight. We discovered a discrepancy in my husband's policy. Emily provided suggestions and we were successful in correcting the error. Emily is knowledgeable and has provided professional guidance which has enabled us to get the most from out policy. I highly recommend Amada of Omaha.

Amada and their workers are horrible. The management is not good at all, I was told to call anytime I had a problem or question with a client and I’d have to call multiple different numbers numerous times in a row just for anyone to even answer their phone, and once I finally got ahold of anyone they would pretty much tell me that they didn’t care something was going wrong with the client and/or I and the. I’d have to figure out how to Halle everything on my own. They do not pay well for the caregiver position at all. I was told that my clients were paying at least 60 an hour while I was only getting 10 of it. Not worth the time or sanity to work for this place. I also wouldn’t trust my loved ones in their care.
