Everything was great as my wife and I were enjoying out dinner outside till one of the workers there started mocking us for our beliefs on drugs. Then as we were leaving, he asked,in a teasing way, if we wanted some drugs. Nope... That was totally unprofessional and totally uncalled for. I was treating my wife to a date, we are minding our own business, at your restaurant, eating your food. Then you think it is wise to put down the customer. Sorry buddy. My business was lost in a flash. We quickly left that Bag of something to be treated better elsewhere. I hope the other people there were not disturbed. Good luck to you all who are considering eating at this place. Food is good, but better take out.

This used to be one of the greatest lunch spots in Anchorage. Their sandwiches were absolutely delicious. Sadly now they're not open for lunch anymore, but they do have a bar downstairs which is nice I guess

We hit right during the lunch rush, but they were still hustling to get all those sandwiches made. We grabbed a Greek chicken sandwich to take to the airport with us and man were we so happy we did!! It was delicious and fresh - the bread, the chicken, the toppings - everything tasted so Good! Highly recommend!!

Great lunch spot. Hip decor, outdoor seating with a view, tasty sandwiches, and solid beer selection. Sandwiches had right ratio of meat/bread/topping, chocolate chip cookie was still a little soft, and the Alaskan Summer Ale was great.

What a great sandwich place! I loved the Greek Chicken. The place is funky, service is fast and they will bring out your sandwich. If you can walk to it, all the better. I've been dying to go back ever since my visit!

Usually I love this restaurant and bring all of our out of town guest for lunch. The food is great and I've always loved the atmosphere, however this visit was terrible. The server who took our order (Jinx) was rude and acted very put out with every question I had. I know there is a kids sandwich selection from previous visits, but they are not listed. The server rolled his eyes when I asked what the options were. He scoffed when I asked if chips and a drink were included with the kids' sandwich. My niece and daughter wanted soup, so I requested the soup of the day (chicken noodle) and the server mumbled "nope, were out." I asked if there was another soup. Once again I got the eye roll and he mumbled the tomato soup selection to me. This behavior repeated itself as my family ordered their meals. I was embarrassed to have brought them to a place I had talked up so much. Brown Bag ran out of cookies, so half of our party didn't get any. The straws didn't have wrappers on them and sat out on the register counter. Gross. They use to have fountain drinks to choose from, now it's cans only. The bathroom was out of toilet paper and soap and one of the stalls was out of order completely. The sandwiches and chips are delicious but if Brown Bag can't turn their service around they will have lost this customer permanently.

As a travel agent: If you know you are going to be out in the wilderness all day, order in advance. Your sandwiches will be ready early in the morning. They have an online menu and will prepare your snacks and meal in a compact box to survive a walk on the trail. My choice was Spicy Roast Beef on marble rye. The bread was soft, the roast beef rare *just the way I like it* and the spicy horse radish made a good taste on my pallet. Side order of cookies and chips. Don't forget the orange cream soda--what a treat!
