Dr. Jeff Hales is a consummate professional, an expert in his field of pulmonology, and as kind and considerate as a physician could possibly be. Every time I go to his office, I am made to feel comfortable, and my blood pressure, when it’s taken, is usually the best it is in any doctor’s office. That experience says it all about his practice. Because I am asthmatic, I am given a yearly 50-minute breathing test. The test is somewhat stressful, but because of the two technicians, Greg in the Virginia Hospital Center Office (Arlington), and Julie in the Falls Church Office, I have little trouble taking it. They are my cheerleaders, and I can honestly say it gives me an enormous advantage over what it did several years ago, when the technician was a fearsome drill sargeant who actually frightened me. (That person did not last very long in that office!) I am very thankful to have a pulmonologist such as Dr. Hales so close to my home! I would recommend him to anyone who needs this type of specialist. And he was recommended to me by my former gynecologist (now retired). That says something about the respect he has among his peers.
