Don't miss an opportunity to shop here! I called the shop this morning and got excellent service. First of all, the person who helped me was so polite, so pleasant, so unrushed, and helpful, that it made me want to go spend an afternoon in the shop. And secondly, they had some of my supplies that I've been looking for! In this time of hard-to-get materials, this made me happy! A well-stocked store. I'm in a different state so this will have to be a special destination trip for me - and I have it on the list

My wife is a cross sticker and we made a special trip to come visit Sassy Jack's. We met Kim and the entire experience was great and worth it. I went for a walk and got some ideas for lunch when I got tired of looking for patterns for my wife.

I placed a very small order in May from the website. Both items were listed, so they should have been in stock. After not receiving my items for a few weeks, I emailed to check on my order. I was told that she would check on it and get back with me. No email. I emailed again, asking if the wool thread was available. No email. I emailed again, basically begging for an answer because I needed this particular fiber to finish a project. Once again, no email. I wrote back and asked for my order to be sent this week. She sent me a snarky email saying the wool was back ordered and she would refund my money. She did, but she requested I take my business elsewhere. If she had answered me honestly on my first email, none of this would have happened. Please beware! If you order from her, be prepared to wait forever and not get any communication from her whatsoever if you have a problem. She will ignore you.

I was excited to find this shop nearby during a vacation to Asheville. It did not disappoint! The shop is beautiful and full of so many wonderful stitchy things, the staff were friendly and engaging and I cannot wait to go back.

Great shop with oodles of stitching goodies and friendly, helpful staff. The owner, Kim, is one of the nicest people you will meet. Worth the trip!

The most beautiful cross-stitch store I've ever been to but the people working there couldn't have cared less that I was there. I was the only customer in the shop and neither one of them engaged me until I was ready to pay. So unusual for this area and for crafters ! And so disappointing.

Beautiful, beautiful store. They have a large amount of local hand dyed string, and fabric. Very informative staff.

If you love samplers this is the place to go! Kim, Alt and the rest are knowledgeable, kind and patient. Did I say encouraging? That too!
