I bought a used leather wallet a year ago and have had trouble with the zipper teeth not catching at times. I YouTubed ways to fix it but it only got worse. I remembered seeing this shop so my husband and I stopped in. When we entered Jerry was busy with another customer but they were having a pleasant conversation and he said he'd be with us. After a few witty quips from Jerry I showed him the wallet and within two minutes he had fixed it and we were on our way! He recently relocated to Ashland from Minnesota! He does excellent work. (A lady came in behind us and before we were out the door he had pulled her bag out and it was perfect.) His prices are super. He's super. Definitely take your shoes, bags, zippers, etc. to Jerry. (Although it could be Gary! Lol) If covid ever goes away and we can have a dinner party, we will invite him. If this review is helpful, as it's meant, please hit the like button.

Had them put on a sole for skateboarding shoes that makes them wear out slower. The material isnt easy to work with. It was some good work at a fair price!

I went in to Dan's the other day for one sandal simple repair and Dan took care of it on the spot with NO CHARGE! So, I purchased a pair of their Dr. Comfort sandals and can't wait to start walking on air. Dan's Shoe repair sells Dr. Comfort which are fabulously comfortable and attractive shoes for those of us with some feet issues. Highly recommend this family owned and operated shoe repair shop! Not happy. Ordered some shoes, was told it would take 1.5 to 2 weeks to arrive. Well after 4 weeks I decided to call. Tried calling a dozen times throughout the week during their business hours; they never pickup their phone. Their answering machine says not to leave voicemails because they won't return them. Said they will respond to text messages. Took them a week to respond to text messages saying there was a delay in placing my order but no info on how long it would take to arrive. Some heads up would have been nice without me contacting them first! After two more weeks I went in in person (difficult to do since they are only open 5 hours per day) and they had them. They said the shoes had arrived a few days earlier, but surprise surprise they didn't contact me to let me know! Employee was rude and said if I didn't like their service to go somewhere else. Will not be returning in the future.
