Great Police Department, and the response times might be slow, however this is a pretty high crime area, so the department has to prioritize all the calls they get, and if there's a shooting, or something of higher priority on the other side of the zone, and you're calling for a...I don't know shoplifting or vandalism, it's not going to be the priority of the department to come stop that when they have more important things to be doing. At least they showed up, and did their jobs.

I recently met one of the officers assigned to this precinct, Officer Black. When I had the pleasure of meeting him he was working security at his part time job at The Kindezi School on Wilson Mill Rd in SW Atlanta. When I met Officer Black I was intimidated by his size. Therefore I was really moved by his demeanor towards the staff and children. He was gentle, humble and kind to everyone. His treatment towards others was so genuine and sincere that I felt like he deserved to be appreciated. Officer Black patiently listened as I told him why I appreciated the job that he, and his fellow officers have done. He took time getting to know me. I got to know him as well. What meant a great deal to me was the fact that he sacrificed his free time just to listen to what I had to say. I found Officer Black to be very honest and trustworthy. He treated me with the utmost amount of respect and dignity. This is the way we should treat all police officers. Officer Black is a model police officer. I sincerely hope that he is recognized and thanked for doing such an exceptional job. He is a fantastic representation of the Atlanta Police Department. God loves police officers. He gives us free will to make our own choices. Police officers could have chosen a job with more money, benefits or time with their families. Instead they chose to \protect\ and \serve\ us. They risk their lives everyday doing this. To them it is not a job. It is their duty. This takes integrity, honor and love. Unconditional Love(1Corinthians13). Unconditional love is what God wants all of us to have for others. This is why police officers choose to serve and protect us. Even when it is not always recriprocated. This is what makes them heros.

The kindest, most humble officers that I've ever met.

I was in a car accident on June 14th the officer name was Melvin Potter he claimed at the scene he was writing my information down and come to find out he wasn’t I was the passenger in my work vehicle I think he did a poor job and now it’s July 30 and I’m still trying to get my name added to the report so I think some officers just come to work to get paid but that doesn’t speak for the hole department because I do know they have some loyal officers and work hard to make sure Atlanta is safe

This department never answers the phone. I came down here because I was in accident and finally got the report. To be told it doesn’t matter if the officer put I was going right or left because either way I’m at fault. Even tho the other car jump two lanes to hit me. The report always said I didn’t see the car never said that. But the worst part is to have a officer with such a no caring attitude just stare at you while u asking questions. If there was traffic how did a car come from behind me and make a right turn at the same time. Then it’s cameras there for what?
