Beware of the application process! They need to go over stipulations before taking your money. I allowed my son to use my credit card to apply to SkyHouse South after listening to the leasing agent on speaker phone state that the 410 refund would be put back on my card in 72 hours if my son's application was denied. He was denied 5 minutes after his application was received for having too low of a credit score despite no record of ever defaulting on rent in 5 years, has a steady income with a good career for over one year, etc. He was denied the option of adding me as a cosigner (my credit score is over 800). 144 hours later and I haven't been refunded. I called SkyHouse on 12/3/20 and an employee told me they would keep my money for 30 days! I asked to speak to the assistant manager who told me keeping my money is for my protection as well as theirs?!!? That's insane. Furthermore, I was told (by an agent) that I would never get my money back if I disputed this with my bank, which is highly illegal. This is exploitation and they have no right to use someone's money for 30 days. If you have 410 to throw down the drain this is the complex for you!

I have been in this apartment for over a year by now. A great apartment to live in Midtown. The leasing staff (Adrick and Mitchell), maintenance and the front desk are very friendly and quick to attend to anything. The leasing staff hosts community events regularly and they also bring in food trucks on a weekly basis. Overall, a great place to live in the heart of Midtown.
Awesome start to my stay here in the Skyhouse South...Everyone has been great and friendly...Love the area...Plenty to do on the property and the surrounding neighborhood...Friends and Family are going to enjoy visiting....
This was a great first apartment out of college. You can’t beat the location and although we did have quite a few maintenance issues (the oven didn’t work when we moved in, and our AC / heat gave us some trouble) they were always prompt in fixing them. You really don’t hear other residents once inside your room. Staff is friendly. I’ve never had a problem with mail, in fact the one time I accidentally wrote in the wrong apartment I was still able to get my package when the resident returned it. The place is very secure (and it needs to be as there are some homeless people that hang out at the QT down the street) but also I think that just comes with living in Midtown. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is how expensive it has become. When we moved in a year ago they were selling 2 bed apartments for a little under 2300. Now they are trying to get 2800 for less than 1000 sq ft of space. Personally, I think they’re trying to shift their demographic away from young professionals which is fine, but honestly I think you could get a lot more for your money which is why we moved.
