It started off great. After the first visit it became hard to get in contact with the Dr. none of my questions were ever answered, and I still have gastro issues. I WOULD NEVER recommend this office to anyone with real Gastro issues. The process was over a 6- 8 months. Waste of time and money.
When their fancy tests dont give them the answer, you are cured all of a sudden. Then you back there worse off and getting admitted in the hospital.
My mother has recently seen them. They have done nothing. She’s been sick for months. Was told if you’re not feeling better go to the ER. We can’t get you set up for a CT scan today. 8 hours later in the ER no resolution. I do not want her going back there. They have no clue. She was told no Dr appointments available so she had to see the PA. She has lost weight within a week. Stay away!!!! Im working to find a new Dr out of this network.
I have spent more time than I feel necessary (yesterday and today) trying to find out how a procedure would be billed to my insurance company, all to no avail. I have been transferred, on hold, misdirected, left messages and disconnected too many times to even want to try any longer...so, i am just canceling the procedure. Do better Emory.
I was diagnosed w a rare tumor in bile duct. They saved my life. Excellent care.
I do not recommend this provider. Terrible customer service.
These are the most unprofessional and unconcerned people in the medical community. My husband was recently hospitalized at Emory for rectal bleeding. It took them all day to come see him, and when they decided to he would have a colonoscopy, they waited until after his eating time, and they gave him that solution, which is filled with sodium. His blood pressure was already 210/100, thus he spent the night trying to drink all of the solution while having extreme anxiety about his elevated blood pressure. The next day when they finally decided to pick him up for the colonoscopy, they never once returned to talk to us about the results. The doctor spoke to him briefly right after he came out of sedation but said she would come to his room to talk to us. We waited all evening and kept asking the nurse when we could expect to hear from the doctor. Not one doctor ever showed up! This department treat their patients like cattle. It's all about the numbers - Get them in and get them out! Unfortunately for Emory, I have always believed in standing up for people who are not treated with dignity. This time it's my husband!!
