The staff with Harbor Hospice is absolutely amazing. The nurses are so helpful and caring, and they show true compassion to their patients as well as the families. I was so thankful to have them with us through a difficult time.

My family and I utilized them for the last 3 days of my dad's life on earth. I'm grateful that my dad went in peace and surrounded by family which was most important. Nurse Barb conducted my dad's assessment, and she was very loving and patient. She spent a considerable amount of time here at our home with us and ordered my dad's comfort kit. Jen, who was my dad's designated nurse came out the following day. She was very empathetic and helpful with my dad, and ordered him additional meds in effort to make him more comfortable. Finally Carmen, the on-call weekend nurse who visited our home 3 times on my dad's final day on earth with us, remained in frequent contact with me throughout the day when she wasn't at our home in effort to guide me. My dad passed at 8:45PM and Carmen arrived to our home at 10:00PM. We finalized everything and it was over. HarbornHospice sent my family a kind condolences card personally signed by everyone who we came in contact with over the 3 day period which we very much appreciated.

The people here, while dealing with horrible situations, were amazing to my mother in law, and her children in their hour of need. They were compassionate, caring, and extremely helpful. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for helping us through this difficult time

5/8/12 At this point in my experience with Harbor Hospice I must say I am frustrated with the service due mostly to the ever changing and intermittent service. Getting a call to say that a \CNA is not coming today and they probably will not be able to send one in the near future\ is not the kind of service that I am looking for from a hospice company. I will look for another service.
