He is a FANTASTIC neurologist. Unfortunately, he does not practice at the CNCA South location off Davis Ln. We switched from Dr. Karnik to another practitioner at the South location as we live in Dripping Springs. While it wan't bad care, it definitely wasn't the holistic, comprehensive approach that we were use to and expecting coming from Dr. Karnik's care. I am am speech-language pathologist and have 24 yrs of experience with child development. I decided to switch back to Dr. Karnik (knowing that at some point I will have to drive from Dripping to Cedar Park since the Far West office is now closed)...but he is definitely worth that drive to have a physician take the time to listen to your concerns as well as your child's and give recommendations that are consistent with the most current medical research. He attempts non-pharmaceutical approaches to condition management (which I admire) but will also prescribe medications if necessary. You can't go wrong with Dr. Karnik, he is a treasure to our Austin community and I recommend him fully!!
