This is NOT a jean hem and my pant leg is wider than it was when I dropped them off.
She did a great job installing a zipper on my couch. Glad to have a reliable tailor here in Austin.
I started taking my vest here to get patches put on. The lady wasn't very nice, and when I greeted her, she seemed bothered by me greeting her. She lost her patience pretty quickly after I asked her to sew a patch on a not so smooth (on a seam)surface. It also seemed that I couldn't quite get her to understand how I wanted the patches placed, which had to be straight and centered. The first time I came in there, she charged me 5/patch to sew on my vest with her machine(not hand-sewn). The second time I showed up, the prices had moved to 7/patch, which I couldn't quite understand, but nonetheless I paid it to support small business. By the third time I showed up, it really seemed like she would rather I took my business elsewhere because the pleasantness had left from her voice and attitude.. plus the price had went up to 10 to sew my patch on! This was a similiar sized patch that she had originally sewn on for 5, but had doubled her price to sew on another.. I paid it, but I will not be going back to Sun Alterations.
Got pants hemmed. Too expensive if you ask me, and the first day I wore the pants the thread started coming undone. I'm not even going back to get it fixed, I'll go somewhere else.
