We called late at night passing through Kansas and Bob and Claudia said we could visit the alpacas. When we arrived they welcomed us outside and showed us the pasture, and called the “Paca Girls” and the girls came in the enclosure from the field! Claudia and Bob thoroughly explained basic care for the alpacas, shearing fleece, and other finicky alpaca needs. Claudia and Bob were so welcoming and generous for letting us tour the barn. Ad Astra Alpaca farm was the highlight of our cross country return-trip! ️
Highly recommend!
It was a wonderful experience! It’s a beautiful local farm with friendly owners. The alpacas were also very social!
