This is a review of their Pediatric ER. We took our son here after an anaphylactic reaction and they were compassionate, attentive, and made evidence-based decisions in choosing his treatment. I was very pleased with his care!

I came in with a perirectal abscess with unbearable pain on 10.15.2022. I can honestly say that I was shaking and trembling due to the intense pain. If I were to quantify the pain that I was in, it would be 9 or 9.9 out of 10 with 10 being unbearable. Due to this, I was not able to sleep at all for a few days before coming in. When you have this type of condition, do not hesitate to go to an emergency department. They took me into the emergency room bedside within 10 min and treated my condition to help me relieve the unbearable pain that I was experiencing very quickly. I was able to sleep that night for the first time in three days at the ER with pain medication and went under general anesthesia to finally have the peri rectal abscess drained the next morning. I want to thank all staff members who treated me. Literally and figuratively, they saved my a**. As a marylander, I cannot be more proud of the amazing medical care professionals we have. It is truly an outstanding asset to our baltimore city. I woke up with relief from the surgery and thanked God for their excellent care. I am recovering now and I have been given a very clear post operative instructions. Again, thank you so much UMMC

After 4 hours I'm still waiting in the waiting room with heart pressure and pain... I've seen 12 other people come and go while I sit. I'd give zero if I could. Maybe if I OD they'll see me. Ignorance.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The place is filthy. Waited for nearly 6 hours, was never taken back. I understand other emergent cases get priority but no one that needs medical care should sit for 6 hours without even an update of when they'll be treated.

You’ll stay in the waiting room for 3 hours before you touch the back , its going to be different doctors but all the same questions , but all in all its a very good place
