Only concerned with driving revenue to justify the department’s existence. This leads to the eagerness for the petty traffic violations and lack of response to real enforcement of law that would protect citizens. The sheriff’s department is completely capable of covering the area, and in many cases responds to more house calls than BCPD. Further, the officers are not trained as well as sheriff’s deputies. Most of the staff is young, with on the job training.

Great community police. Excellent caring officers that represent a positive environment for our kids in the community , respecting family values.

I have had nothing but good experiences with this department. Special shout out to Officer Matt Stevko for being so helpful to my elderly father a few months back at the Galleria. Makes me feel like I'm back in the little city I grew up in.

These city cops are worthless. They have nothing better to than harass the public. These major character flaws don't reflect the outstanding community that funds their inflated salaries. Everyone, beware. These guys are out to get you. PS.. and for God's sake add a turn lane to the elementary school please, that intersection is embarrassing.

Bee has a great Galleria, but be careful they must be short on funds... I got pulled over for doing 6 miles over the speed limit last week and my wife just got pulled over for no license plate on the front of a 14 year old car that has never had one...

They spend all their time posting on Facebook asking for tips and deleting dissenting comments rather than stopping actual crime.
