The tech is great, very kind man and knowledgeable! Otherwise, the place is very unorganized in everywhere except payments-because she’s for sure got that part down. The gal that takes care of all needs is the Owner’s daughter and she is very rude, argues, and is difficult to work with. Her dad lets her run the show and it’s impossible to have a conversation with anyone but her. She’s often tried to diagnose issues over the phone with machines she knew nothing about and would be offended if we would not try something we knew could break our machines. It got to a point we’d call the tech directly to avoid listening to her arrogant rudeness. We had a couple things left unfinished, due to them being out of specific equipment (even though we had to wait weeks to get them out for that) -it resulted in an emergency situation. When my husband called, she was offended by our need for urgent service. She called me to tattle multiple times about my husband/business partner being “pushy” when we are a high volume shop that needed quick emergency service due to their mistake. To my knowledge, they only have one tech so scheduling is rough. We have moved on to become fully trained ourselves, but also working with companies outside of our area for better service and honestly it’s much quicker anyway! Glad to see others had better outcomes.

Midwest Equipment & Espresso is the only place I'll take my equipment to be fixed. Our machines get a lot of use and we need them to stay in business. I can always rely on Midwest Equipment to get the machines working quickly. They always know what they're doing and also I enjoy chatting with Jen when I come to the shop. I have nothing but glowing praise to give to the folks at Midwest Equipment and Espresso. Jeremy took a genuine interest in trying to fix my 10-year-old Rancilio Silvia, and problem-shot for several weeks to figure out why she wasn't brewing. He finally figured out the issue, fixed her, and then gave her a full cleaning, to boot--all while keeping me updated. He was a pleasure to work with, as was the very nice lady at the front desk (whose name I didn't catch). If you have a personal or industrial machine, you NEED to make friends with these guys.
These guys are awesome. They’ve even been able to help us fix our machine via FaceTime. Highly recommend them for all parts and repairs.
Get you espresso machine fixed here. Great family owned and operated business. If you run a coffee shop you need to have them in your speed dial.
