I don't know if they still compost anymore, haven't been back since my purchase the beginning of last year. It's filled with trash. Has no water holding capacity. Still to this day I can go to my pile in the back and turn it and plastic wrappers and trash will come out of it. I'd be almost willing to bet money the stuff comes from a landfill. Yard waste and trash. You really do get what you pay for. I'd give zero stars if it let me, but the people who worked there where at least semi helpful. Stick to the mulch, quality compost is NOT here.
I called to set up an appt to have a tree cut was told everyone was busy. The man took my number and said someone would call me next day. Three weeks later, I called back after never receiving a call. A woman told me everyone was gone to a school function and they would call me later. I never received a call so I went with another company. Very unprofessional.
I have bought gravel and mulch from them several times and it's always a great experience. Super friendly staff and fast service.
